ROBIEWANKENOBIE

it's starting to feel a bit "hey mon" over here. i'm a mom. barista. graphic designer. and now i've got this store that my friend and i are putting together. i've been trying (unsuccessfully, mind you) to convince the leon to stay home from work whilst i take to my bed for 24 hours.

today i'm putting together the banner that i'm going to embroider for the store. i'm also finishing up a second draft of a brochure. i don't work tonight (thank goodness!), but the leon will take off shortly after dinner, so i will have solo kid duty. after a day jam packed with kid duty exclusives like double swim lessons (we'll be there from ten until twelve thirty). you're damn straight that they're watching a bit o' teevee right now. i need some headspace to plan. oh! and i've got to run to the store for embroidery floss and such. yikes.

anywhoo...we're having fun, but i've been remiss in following up on my summer to do list. i knocked out the "take the kids to some obnoxious kid themed restaurant amusement thing," and got lost looking for the ferry. i have no idea what we'll do next, but i'm thinking it will be a ball game on friday. perhaps the drive-in saturday night. who knows?! we're wild and crazy up in here!
