storm's 'a brewin'!

i don't much trust the weather dudes on the teevee, but when ellie, the barometer dog, is in the basement, you know it's going to be a whopper of a storm. right now we are at the bouncy hail stage. this will be followed by snow. if the lack of salt trucks in our neighborhood is any indication (oh, how the abhor the streets of the ghetto), there ought to be plenty.

the kids are home early, the leon is home early...aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand i'll be headed to work in a few hours. huzzah! i can't wait! i'm supposed to work tomorrow, too, which is stellar. at least with the leon home, i'll get nappage.
