both harrison and carter used to run with this cantilevered stride. i was often afraid that one day they'd meet the sidewalk unexpectedly. i have a tape of carter's almost first steps. but what i missed, with both of them? is this forward leaning, can't wait to get there, stride. i wish i had it on tape. because on our way to daycare this morning? i realized that neither one of them runs this way anymore.
leon never dinosaur bones as a kid. he is a science junkie. it is time. this month is the month. i know he'll approach it with the same amount of wonder.
i'm going to play some serious hooky this afternoon. my kids NEVER see movies in the theatre. we are totally kicking off early and grabbing this moment. i'm hitting the liquor barn before i go. and, hopefully, i'll meet up with a good friend.
the city pools are open! aside from the obvious swimming suit issues, i can't wait to get there!
time for some baseball. especially since roger clemens is in the house.
i think i need a planner. i almost have a life. one that necessitates a planner.
i have a new freelance client. one that trusts my taste and is willing to pay real money for my expertise!
even though it is terribly difficult to find bento boxes within a 100 mile radius, i will be getting more sushi supplies. i just love those (and this is where i will invoke my right to creative spelling) whacky asian markets.
i printed out some neat crafty projects to do with the kids on sunday, and i'll be working on some jewelry for the local artist's market next weekend. no guts, no glory, right?
i know that there's more, but frankly? i'm to giddy to recall what those things might be. here's to the weekend! huzzah!
