1 trip to ride the penny horses. broken.

2 stops at a coffee house. they have the best bathrooms for toddlers to pee in, and some rockin' mint bars.

1 breakfast with eyepatch wearing/smoking in a non-smoking restaurant patron.

1 quiche.

1 trip to the grocery store whereupon a dozen eggs were broken, and the emergency alarm cord in the handicapped bathroom was pulled. [i swear, it was like an outing of the herdmans]

1 sighting of a neckkid, stickhorse ridin', cowboy.

2 gallons of paint and 2 packages of floor tile purchased.

1 new curious george television show.

3 walls stripped of one layer of wallpaper.

8 old floor tiles removed.

2 haircuts.

2 trips to see thomas the train at the bookstore. two stores, of course...because thomas is different at each one.

3 miffy books, a book about kindergarten, a book about hugs, and a new cookbook for kids checked out of the library.

7 bags of groceries purchased, unloaded, and put away.

1 entire meal prepared by the kids. rainbow slaw. popovers. carrot soup.

1 visit to the doctor.

2 medicines prescribed.

2 playskool sets purchased. one ice cream bike. one guinea pig farm.

6 cuba libres consumed. more to come.

1 cheezy, but delightful, movie viewed.

3 lunches, a batch of muffins, and breakfast bars yet to prepare.

endless amounts of hugs and kisses given out.

4 people disappointed to see the weekend end.
