things

things that are making me happy:
• leon got a raise (not that kind, although...)
• free dansko shoes! they are the sex!
• my black skirt. shirred. not shaken.
• rain this week! wonderwoman umbrella deployed!
• my nurse practitioner. she helped me find a medication cocktail that won't break me financially. she thought to ask what fibers i was knitting with (in case it aggravated my allergies). she told me to knit with acrylic. and then she laughed, because, well acrylic? heh. i hooked her up with the 411 on new yarn stores. and then? she gave me samples!!!
• knit like a pirate day coming up. argh!
• warm man to snuggle with in @30 minutes. toasty!
• the socks of doom are starting to look like they might get finished this year.
• halloween's a brewin'! costume ideas a swirlin'!

in retrospect, there are still a few trials ahead of me. the lack of spinach for one. and the dearth of night court re-runs top the list. also?
• lukas. rockstar? you are dead to me!
• the allergies/asthma that doesn't fix itself immediately with medicine. poo on you.
• my unfinished kitchen. feh.
• the website/design work that won't go away.
