Christmas spirit has quite unexpectedly smacked me in the ass. and i liked it. *snort*
a long ago friend from the long forgotten last job has sent me a ehllo kitty pez dispenser and card. our next door neighbor bought the kids two board games. friends from near and far have sent lovely cards. i shouldn't get so excited about cards, but they make me ever so happy. especially when put up on the mirror in the hall.
believe it or not, i'm 98% complete on six presents. three patchwork scarves. one knitted collar. two dolls. we've filled stockings with crafty supplies this year, so we'll be puttering away on little projects tomorrow morning.
thanks to a speedy amazon delivery, the boys will get the second of TWO amazing presents tomorrow. oh, and the leon's mama gifted us a new storm door.
a little non-materialistic crafty goodness, and some well spent materialistic funds. it's going to be a swell holiday. best part? the leon has been home, and thoroughly inappropriate, for days now. and he only has to put in one day between now and the third. huzzah!
