there was oodles of festiveness today. plum exciting, it were. there was the dramatic beginning when the big guy ran out in front of my car...as the principal watched. [when your kid runs out towards traffic first thing in the morning? it's a heart stopper]. later the little guy and i attended the winter program. it included a demonstration of parachute games and a participatory mexican hat dance. this afternoon we stopped by the local history museum. my favorite exhibit was a display of confiscated shivs from the local jail. *ahem* edjumacate them when they're young, i say.

now for a bit of arthur whilst mommy reclines on the sofa.
