i feel like i've been shot out of a cannon...aaaaaaaaand...into a brick wall. wshew. after a week where i've been yelled at for circumstances beyond my control, and talked down to, i just want to give a shout-out to my two favorite customers.

there is a reason that you are my coffee shop boyfriend (endorsed by the leon). you come in with plenty of time to spare. you use your pleases and thank yous, and you are a dandy conversationalist. yes, please.

in general? i love love love my job. and the things that make me grouchy? it's because they are an anomaly. seriously. because most people? are totally decent individuals. and it warms my little pea pickin heart to have people pay for the car behind them, or splurge on their friends. i love the hustle and bustle. the students studying, the people celebrating, the kids savoring their hot chocolates. i love that i know customers by name, and drink, and can have things waiting for them, or treat them to a little something every once and awhile. i love my young co-workers who are considerate, knowledgeable, hard working, and kind to each other. this sure beats the alternative, and i'm blessed, and thankful to be here.
