so, uhm, i'm a pretty happy girl. i'm easily amused. i like laughing (especially making someone else laugh and most especially laughing with someone). so, geez-louise this life as a sad sack routine is getting me down. no matter how perky you are about the house falling down around you, the house is still falling down around you. aaaaaaaand i'm starting to crack around the edges here and there which is also quite bothersome to me.
• theLeon's on again, file for unemployment, hey on again job is unsettling for someone who enjoys a daily routine. or a weekly routine. or a tap combo with jazz hands. he did qualify for unemployment...yea! but not for the part he worked in ohio...boo. he did get work for today! yea! and then the majority of the time doing this swell little overheating dealio. isn't that just precious?
• the waiting for chemo to work, and lab results...it feels like the moment before the bachelor/bachelorette proposes. and you worry about the long term viability of the relationship. everyone knows it's going to end. the question is, how painful will the breakup be.
• the robiemomkenobie being in so much arthritic pain? seems like one of those insults to injury sitchyations. i mean, really. and let me just tell you that getting a new shoulder sounds like a FABULOUS idea.
so, here we are. i have learned to respond to the question, how's your day? with the answer...it's a day! because, well, that's better than saying, i'm a sad sack, but how are you? please play along if you see me. i'm doing a running thingamabobber (endorphins! good for stress!) which we shall not acknowledge in public. just wink and nod. if it doesn't pan out in the long run? heh. punny. then i can pretend that i never mentioned it. which i haven't, if you catch my drift. fondling mysterious benefactor yarn? very soothing. also? i am taking vitamins. dunno why exactly, but vitamins always seem to be a good idea. i think that tomorrow i shall do some woohoo therapy on the way to work. in general, you crank up some festive music, roll down your windows, and shout WOOOOO HOOOO! this seems to make me very happy. i'm fond of a little woo hoo when times are tough.
