so, apparently yesterday was the boys' pretend sister's birthday. august is now four. her party is on sunday, and we'll be hitting a nearby ice cream parlor to whoop it up.
i haven't decided exactly what we should give her. there will be balloons. and party hats, of course. i'm pretty sure she'd like some art supplies. and maybe a tiara. that she would possibly let me borrow. on a daily basis.
i called mom to make sure that she sent august a card. would you believe that in four years, she's never sent a card for august's birthday? sheesh.
