82. i have just sent theLeon to work a side gig so that he can keep me in shoes. heh. mr. sarcasmo just got up and said that's he's got to go to work to make me money. i enjoy that about him. not the money part, silly, the sarcasm. it makes me feel loved.

83. i have a friend that says that when she met me that she was waiting for the time when i wasn't sarcastic so that she could know the difference. five years in she gave up.

84. my family of origin is wikkid sarcastic. and witty sarcastic. keeps you on your toes. theLeon fits right in. no one goes for the sucker punch.

85. one time? when he was new to the job? and, like, the only black dude? some guy turned to him in front of everyone and said, "you don't mind if i call you uncle tom, do you?" and he smiled and said, "not as long as i can call you my bitch." i NEVER would have been that quick on my feet. it makes me rather proud.

86. i've taught my kids that sarcasm within the family is not the same as being disrespectful. we're not fans of disrespectful around these parts. it's important that we are sweet to each other.

87. i'm not a real hugger. but i've never turned one down from my kids. or my husband.

88. i'm hugging people right and left these days. i think that i learned a real lesson when my dad was sick and dying. i put it all out there, and people held my heart carefully. i'm less guarded now.

89. my friends are teaching me a lot of lessons. how to hug. how to give and not be afraid of rejection, or frailty. how to let go when relationships aren't working - and not feel like i've failed. they've also helped me regain my badass. i was so much badassier when i was younger.

90. i've been hatching up all sorts of badass plans for the summer. in addition to becoming the best spinner on the entire planet and a super seamstress. i thought about a trip in a hot air balloon, but it's about $185 per person. uhm, no. i have a friend that just went handgliding, so i've put that in my little noggin. i KNOW that i'll never do that, but i'm a fan of the coulds. maybe i'll grow something other than tomatoes and basil in the garden. yeah. that's badass, right?

91. i also toy with the idea of getting one of those bleeding heart mom tattoos with theLeon's name. not his real name, mind you. theLeon. but children are starving in africa and i would truly feel guilty if i spent that much money on a tattoo. it's also probably a bit far to take a joke, but can you imagine? laws.

92. speaking of things that i'm never ever going to do. here is a list of famous bloggers that i should like to have round for tea. actually, i'd like to visit them as i'm terribly interested in how people live in their real lives. for example, have you ever seen those refrigerator memes? i find them fascinating. i never would have taken her for a yellow mustard out of a squeeze bottle type. ::snort::

okay, so...
miss bb. queen of the big city. she also owns a vespa and loves fashion. but in that practical big city fabulous way. her jaunts to meet her blog friends, her trips to wellfleet, and her visit to paola? well. just well.

paola. 'cause dang. everyone who has ever met paola and lived in her world for even a moment seems touched by magic.

ms. angry chicken. she really seems to balance the mama thing well. plucks out moments to be creative. to cook creatively. to sew darling little things for her family.

eurolush. i just want to take a walk with her through the countryside and eat some pastry. wouldn't that be nice? i visited my brother when he lived in berlin, but i never did make it out to the countryside.

roger ebert. do you think it would be like my dinner with andre?

huh. it seems that most of these people i've internetmet through bb. i told you she has fabulous taste. there are more. plenty more, but i think we'll start small.

93. i used to blog every single motherfucking day. and then not. but now? i'm enjoying it again. i'm pretty sure that i only have three readers. theLeon is not one of them. isn't that interesting? oh, wait...he just asked me what i'm blogging about.

94. theLeon and i have lots of interests that we don't share. he's picked up a few things here and there...can tell you when someone has a bad edge or misses a jump, and i can tell you about 1.2 facts about star trek. mostly it has to do with spock. yep. i can totally pick out spock in a lineup. theLeon can tell you about every ship the federation has ever had. yeah, that's never going to happen.

95. things that theLeon and i both like: torchwood, wasabi, kentucky bourbon barrel ale, the artist formerly known as cat stevens, wii wednesday night, and chocolate. he likes milk chocolate, though, which i'm pretty sure is a sin.

96. theLeon is a master mojito crafter. have i mentioned that? a MASTER. i can't decide if it's going to be the summer of the mojito. i'm searching for the perfect drink. one year? our new year's resolution was to drink more. not in that i'm drunks all the time way, but more like the sophisticated cocktails after dinner way. maybe i should consult mr. boston about the drink...

97. i'm also in need of summer reads. our library? has this fantastic thing where you can look up a book online, and have it delivered to the local branch. you can even have it put on hold at your branch. thataway if you need a fix? and can only slide in at the last moments? you escape THE LOOK from the librarians.

98. some people? worry about zombies. me? librarians. when i was in michigan, i lived near the library. at one point? i had some overdue books and the librarians knocked on my door at night and demanded the books. i still have an irrational fear of evil librarians coming to get me.

99. i also strategically pick my seat in restaurants so that i'm least likely to be collateral damage in a mob attack. true story.

100. i like pie.
