we have MANY VERY IMPORTANT ADULT RESPONSIBILITIES. and, thus, we had MANY VERY IMPORTANT ADULT TASKS to complete today. of which we have completed, uhm, hardly any? we did get the taxes done. and by we, i mean theLeon. so there's that.

fresh biscuits with gooseberry jam or lemon curd
freestyle soup
faux crabcakes of awesome
the first step of star trek indoctrination
napping
sleeping kid admiring
lounging around in fancy robes and warm boots
recipe contemplation
book reading
blog reading
flirting with theLeon
...and not much of any importance in adult responsibility land.

it's been pretty great. of course this means that there will be some making up to do this evening - a trip to the store - work on the design project. ah, well, uh, if i can avoid the tempting emails my friend is sending me..."i have the wine, bring cheese and crackers!"
