i've spent the last five years dreading sundays. monday was our magazine production day. on friday? i'd rejoice that the week was over. on saturday i'd be upset that i only had one day left before the weekend. on sunday? i'd be working myself up. by monday? i was completely disheartened.
today leon and i went on an absolute cleaning frenzy. i LOVE to polish silver, and so i reworked the mantle with a silver tea service. a few branches with red berries, and an antique runner make it just beautiful.
i figured out how to get personal health insurance. i also ordered a few more bento egg molds online, and the kids and i went for a swim at the local gym (complete with hot tub). there was also a terrific nap.
oh, and my schedule at work? not going to be sufficient to qualify for health insurance. i'll talk to the big guy tomorrow. but you know what? i can always get another job. isn't that awesome? no biggie. just get another job. so freeing!
so, i'm watching leon make dinner (my part is complete), and listening to the boys play their tennis racquets guitars. i can't tell you how relaxed and happy i am.
