my cooking mojo seems to be rockin' it. which is good. 'cause i was bored as hell. last night i made a risotto with brown rice, vegetables, and lemon. the sex. there was a slight bento incident yesterday. *cough* we went to a new japanese store and whatta ya know...two sparkling bento boxes. they don't have any other kind, but they don't need to. these were adorable. so, we went to kindergarten for lunch today. on the bottom? hot dog octopus. sushi. vegetable pancakes with star cut outs. on the top? current raisins, apple slices, and pocky chocolate mushrooms.
i'm working on a lace pattern right now. so long as the freakin' kids and dogs stay away, i should be right on target.
at new job? i got a killer discount on merchandise. christmas is done, folks. in one fell swoop. swwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooppppppp! also? i called my bossman with some concerns. he freakin' THANKED me for coming to him INSTEAD OF SUCKING IT UP. rwkn + newjob = love. also? the joint is 90% vegetarian. just an added benefit.
we are currently touring the local libraries. there is one by our old duplex that i totally forgot about. it has a GREAT selection, and the children's area is so neat. thomas the train (of course), cd players, computers, TONS of interesting books, and these little "house" shacks at the end of every row.
i am LITERALLY tripping over the kid and the dogs this week. i feel like i have labyrinthitis.
we live next to the smuckers plant. and a killer donut shop. i wonder if they give tours
jeez. i must figure out how to incorporate actual content into this thing. i. am. so. lame.

The Ale-8 factory gives tours on Fridays. Philip and I have been planning to go on one since we moved back. He is off every other Friday and I can arrange my vacation so that I could be off too if you ever want to go.
