whassup internets?

nothing but excitement over in these parts. i'm slowly deleting the 1222 messages from my stitch 'n bitch that are sitting in my inbox. apparently, i am somewhat allergic to deleting mail when it comes in...and my mail program is somewhat allergic to letting me delete all that shits at once.

uh. found out that my all time favorite trashy beach read of a young adolescent girl novel "Ballet Shoes" was made into a movie out in britannia. there are snippets on youtubopia, but not all of them. i anxiously await the next installment. pins and needles! pins and needles!

i am working on a supersekrit project for a friend of mine. i am shitty at following through any of these sorts of plans. i get too over involved in the details, decide that the person wouldn't be satisfied with the project...and i collapse in a puddle of goo. but this time? i shall be victorious! yesssss, i smell victory!!!

i love my graphic design client. she sent me an email last week all excited about a project that we're working on...and this week when she didn't like what i sent her? she simply emailed..."hi..i don't like that at all = (" gotta love her. also she pays on time. she needs to get a medal.

last, but not least...it's that time of year again. for that supersekrit giveaway that will answer all my hopes and prayers. i am entering. i need to win. year five? and the prize has eluded me. i won't be dismayed, though, because i am a true believer. i'd link to it, but y'all would go and enter and usurp my winningness.

this is week two of my working marathon. 30 plus hours of coffee greatness combined with twenty hours of graphic designess combined with full time childcare. you're right. my kitchen floor is an absolute disaster. but hey, harry potter is getting read, and tomorrow is my day to spend an afternoon at a playdate (thus preserving my somewhat tentative sanity).

yeah, i know...i totally lied. although i still maintain that excitement is my middle name. someday i'll up and do something...then you'll see. [please may it be the sweepstakes? pretty please?]
