i survived the day. thanks, in part, to my leetle medical buddy. i hate to do it, but in times of des;erate need. it helped out quite a great deal, actually. i was calm cool and collected even when i would have normally freaked out. kind of like those deodorant commercials.
with one kid? i didn't have to watch his EVERY freakin' move. but with two? constant supervision. yikes. it's always a toss up when i'm on solo duty...should i go put something in the wash downstairs? you know those horror movies where they split up? and you're all like, don't go there alone! nothing good can come of this! yeah, well that's what it's usually like when i try to do laundry. today? they took the water they were drinking at the kitchen table and dumped it on the sofas. not a tragedy of heidenburg proportions, but another damn thing to clean up nonetheless. yeah, sure they don't do this all the time, but it doesn't bug the living shit outta me when they're behaving!
they also don't want to go to sleep. h started by playing his kung foo fighting hampster (actually, it's mine) over and over again, quickly followed by him yelling CONSTAMPTINOPLE! CONSTAMPTINOPLE!, and then a abc duet with c. now he's singing about how he's going to be an angel from now on...and something stinky in his hair.
i think i should go knit now, before it stops being endearing and becomes annoying.
