i know some of you aren't dog people, so this will seem ridiculous to you. our current total is $680. the people at the clinic are real hardasses and won't release her without payment. my parents are awesome. ponied up the money *like that.* the diagnosis is two slipped discs. this is so hard to understand because she didn't "say" a thing. probably because she couldn't feel the pain. she's resting comfortably, but will have to stay overnight. we'll have to be late again on our daycare bill and pony up on friday. damn. and who knows what it will cost at our clinic. they, thankfully, are all about the payment plan.
okay, so best case scenario: the steroids and stuffs that they are giving her will reduce the swelling and fix the problem. worst case scenario: she'll have to have suregery which will cost between $1500 and $1600 dollars. i hope we can find a loan out there. it's going to be difficult, i rekkon with what i'm guessing the state of our credit might be.
well, it can't be helped. i'm glad she's not dying, and that there is something that we can do.
