furnace is fixed, which means that it is obscure medical malady time. *cues nickelodeon music* ne took me to the after hours clinic, ostensibly to get me some of that mighty fine medical care....but in reality she just wanted to cram in as many quasimodo jokes as she could before the swelling goes down. my discharge sheet had the gall to say "may use eye patch for comfort, but is not necessary." WHAT? seriously. not NECESSARY? what were they thinking? i have a medical condition that calls for an eye patch and i'm supposed to pass that one up? how is having an eye patch for my one shot at piratedom...AUTHORIZED piratedom, might i add...not NECESSARY. dwan seems to think that she has one stashed somewhere. *crosses her fingers and thinks good pirate thoughts* avast, ye mateys! argggggh!
