stayed up half the night (literally) finishing the dress. the piping is amazing, if i do say so myself. 'course the dress? total disaster, but now i've figured out how to do all sorts of stuffs. wheeee! boy gee howdy did i have a blast. this also means that i don't have to stress about finishing the shrug in time. i love it, though. i think i'll be finishing it this weekend.

in other news, leon stumbled upon harebear's brown bear costume. carter has been wearing it ever since. he's got a bear hat and a wee bear tail. *swoon*

oh, and the furnace guy came by and leon should totally be able to fix the sucker EASILY. i just loved that furnace guy was nice enough to tell him that.
