some everyday. a few christmas miracles tossed in.

c did not wet the bed last night.
truly, a christmas miracle.

h woke up and spread the good mornings! merry christmas! greetings to all.

we ate breakfast to Clifford's chanukah story, and sesame street. then the gifties began.

for me: art supplies. a hello kitty purse (so cool of aunt shirley to think of this! she had planned it for months). nice warm sleepy pants.

for the leon: jerky. 'cause he will die of the no meat if the jerky doesn't appear in his stocking. sleepy pants (which is good. because we totally fight over sleepy pants at our house). milk chocolate (none of that dark crap for him...which leaves more of it in the world for me). work gloves. a "wildcat shirt" (which means that my brother must be opening a tennessee shirt at this very moment).

h and c: toothbrushes. socks. matchbox cars. memory games. train extension parts for our track. a little people mini-barn. books. jogging suits. a super duper playdough kit (they're making salad right now). and their camping dolls. i must admit, i was a little bit please when harrison declared the dolls, "the best presents of anything we got, mom!" *grin*

we're going to have a festive morning. and we're going to meet my parents for lunch over at the matriarch of the quaker meeting's house. i don't think the kids can sit through a silent meeting right now, so we'll join them once the initial excitement has worn off.

oh, and ellie? she took some steps today. she fell down. AND THEN SHE PULLED HERSELF BACK UP. this is my favorite gift of all.
