shut up.
all of you out there who want to say something about what i feed my family.
shut up.
each week i buy all of my freakin' food at the co-op. i buy organic. we go through organic fruit and vegetables like a friggin' freight train.
so shut up.
'cause i strayed from the path this week (mostly. i mean, i did stop by the co-op for organic fruits and veggies).
do you know how hard it is to find vegetarian jello people? do you? not only that, but i'm so tacky that i bought JELLO IN A CAN. good heavens. how was i supposed to resist the JELLO IN A CAN!
asian markets are my crack. i'm just lucky that we don't have a full on market round these parts. if faced with bento goodness. well, i might never recover. i would sell my husband on ebay for wall to wall bento.
so. itty bitty teeny tiny little bok choy. oh, they are just so itty bitty cute i can't hardly stand it! rice noodles. funky sauces. tofu 20,000 ways (including jerky). vegetarian meats. the leon just made a smashing citrus stir-fry of sushi rice (i bought twenty or so pounds...it was the small bag), itty bitty bok choy, and five-spice tofu. we begged for more.
DID I MENTION THE BE-ALL END-ALL OF TACKY? JELLO IN A CAN?
i also snatched up some darling panda cookies to tuck into lunches. they are windsurfing. heh. i passed up the lychee ice cream popsicles, but only because i had other errands to run. the JELLO IN A CAN won't go bad, y'all. 'cause it is JELLO IN A CAN.
i am a little weepy over the fact that they didn't carry the tree stump cookies that i enjoy (i may pretend to be a small gnome when i eat them, but i won't admit to it. on pain of death, i won't admit to it).
but i'll recover. 'cause JELLO IN A CAN.
