can i please hope that the plague does not outlast the month of november? i will be severely pissed if this whole write every day for a month deal is really a write every day for a month about the plague.

last night's close at the coffee shop, actually another coffee shop in town, was quite nice. there weren't very many customers, i got to hang out with a friend of mine, there were burritos for dinner, and i got quite a bit of knitting done on h's winter hat. the best part? they close an hour earlier than my coffee shop. huzzah!

today was a little much. wrangling both kiddos whilst plaugey is kind of a pain in my ass. the leon returned triumphant from work, though, and freed me up for a freelance exam. wish me luck! if i pass the exam (i already passed the first part), i will make more moolah and have more options work-wise. tomorrow is more coffee shop, and more testing (between 10-15 more hours of the testing, due tuesday a.m.). the leon is off to the folks. i've requested that they pamper the boy. he needs a nap, and maybe a cookie. i really appreciate the fact that i can call in an emergency husband pamper to the fogeys. they can be damn fine peeps, yo!
