the leon has lost his spectacles. he is quite perturbed, and rightly so. we are unable to pay for new ones at the moment, so we need to have a miracle of some sorts. it's a pity that we aren't catholic. i have consulted my mother, though, and she has named a few intercessors to try. would it be wrong to find him cute as he lumbers around the house with his spares on? for reference, the spares consist of one lens and a lot of electrical tape. in addition to consulting my quaker mother for helpful saints, i am also playing soothing bird and animal recordings from the rainforest. i know it isn't music from his natural habitat, but dueling banjos doesn't seem to be a prudent choice at this juncture.
